I still cant decide on its name. But heres the pattern.

CO 16 sts.

Row 1: *K1, P2. repeat from * until row is complete.

Row 2: K1, p2tog, *K1, P2, K1, P2, continue from * until 3 sts remain, p2tog, K1.

Repeat Row 1 and 2 until 8 sts on needle.

K1, P2 for 2 rows.

Row 12: P1, K1, yo, *K1, P2. * to last 2 sts. K1, yo, P1.

Row 13: P1, K2 to end.

Repeat Row 12 and 13 until 16 sts on needle.

At this point I have no idea what row we're on. Don't be alarmed. But I digress.

K1, p2tog, *K1, P2. * continue to last 3 sts, p2tog, p.

K1, P2 to end.

repeat until 5 sts on needle.

K1, P2 (or K, or P, or whatever you like, really) for 1 1/4 the length of your neck.

P1, K1, yo, *K1, P2. * to last 2 sts. K1, yo, P1.

P1, K2 to end.

Repeat until 16 sts on needle.

*K1, P2. repeat from * until row is complete.

K1, p2tog, *K1, P2, K1, P2, continue from * until 3 sts remain, p2tog, K1.

Repeat 8 sts on needle.

K1, P2 for 2 rows.

P1, K1, yo, *K1, P2. * to last 2 sts. K1, yo, P1.

P1, K2 to end.

Repeat until 16 sts on needle.

Bind off, weave in ends, and youre done!

Oh, now that you have a bow tie, you'll need to tie it. Unless you're as chic as this guy.

I'd really love to see a guy walking around with it in black at a fancy affair. Who wouldn't, really, jump him?
